私たちは、Anthropic の株式の一部を、公益のためだけに設ける新たな完全子会社である Anthropic Public Benefit Fund に拠出することを決めました。
当初は、私たちの株式の 5% から始まります。会社の価値が、設定した基準値から 50% 上昇するごとに、取締役会の裁量を前提として、最大で追加の 2% を拠出できます。
合計すると、Anthropic の株式の約 20% が公益のために確保されることになります。共同創業者たちはすでに自らの持ち分の 80% を寄付すると誓約しており、従業員の約半数は、創業以来続けている寄付マッチングプログラムの一環として、持ち分の一部を寄付しています。

We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
